Concelebrated Eucharistic Celebration With “Karjat Missionary Priests”, On the Occasion of “World Mission Sunday” at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine at 9 am. Thereafter a Fellowship With Missionary people.

The 89th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima, Was Celebrated at O. L. Of Fatima Shrine, Karjat, On Sunday13th Oct. 2024. (Masses 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am), and The Concelebrated high Mass was at 12 pm. “Fr. Neil dos Santos,” was the Main Celebrant.

Glimpses of the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima  at Fatima Church Karjat on 13th October,2024

 

Liturgy was Animated by St. Our Lady of Fatima Community, Karjat.

5.30 pm Rosary with Intercession

6.00 pm Holy Mass Celebrated by Rev. Father. Father reflected on our  Lady’s call for sharing and service. The Lord has grace of worldly riches to some to be used for the service of other, by sharing and helping the needy. But in todays world there are very few people who share this.  They presume that they are lucky and blessed and the Lord has given it to enjoy for themselves.

Little do they know that the riches they have will not be taken by them at their death.

Mary who was filled with Grace by God, shared this grace to all humanity, and she still tries and comes in dreams and apparitions to save the world and to save people who invoke her help.

After Holy Mass, we had fellowship treat contributed by Fatima Community, and also discussed on the preparation for the feast day.

Rev, Fr. Diago Fernandes, SFX, Karjat was the main celebrant.

Liturgy was Animated by St. Francis Xavier Community, Gunge.

5.30 Rosary

6.30 Holy Mass – Celebrated by Fr. Diago. Father, reflected on the topic of Service and sharing, he started with an anecdote of a rich woman and her poor tenants and reflected on the life of our Beloved mother, whom willing said yes to the Angel Gabriel and then immediately took off to her cousin Elizabeth who was expecting John the Baptist, even though Mother was herself expecting our Lord, she rushed to serve Elizabeth, which shows her selflessness and commitment to serve.

Then at Canaa where the wine was empty she did not hesitate to call on Jesus, as she knew that her Lord would listen to her intercession. Our Beloved Mother was the mediator for the Wedding feast host, in the same way, we can trust on her and  request our petitions and she will ask our Lord and he will definately listen and accept our petitions and give us the best what we need.

Also at the Cross she stood in agony seeing her son be tortured and killed, but yet she knew that this would suffering would bring salvation to the world.

After Holy Mass we had our Fellowship treat, where tasty cake was distributed by the Community of St. Francis Xavier.

 

Tridum in preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. 1st Day : Wednesday 9th Oct.

5. 30 pm : Rosary, a Short Praise & Worship.

6.00 pm : Eucharistic Celebration, Novena, followed by a Fellowship..

Fr. Clifford preached a beautiful homily on the colorful Rosary displayed around Our Lady , depicting how her life was colorful, not as we interpret as todays colorful life, but the life of Humility, Chastity, and Righteousness with God. She obeyed God and followed his will.

She asks us to pray the Rosary everyday, which will help us to protect and keep us safe from  them prowling lion who is waiting to devour us.

Inaugural Eucharist & Blessing of “PREMDEEP NIWAS” (SFX), at Karjat.
Fr. Joseph Anthony Fernandes (General Counsellor), Fr. Diago Gama, (Provincial Superior) & Fr. Joe D’mello (Parish Priest; O.L. of Fatima Church).

Special Liturgy was Animated by Mother Teresa Community members at 9 am Mass.

After the Eucharistic Celebration there was a Short felicitation by the parishioners to our parish priest Fr. Joe D’mello.

Sunday school Children had put up a beautiful dance.

Fr. Joe appreciated this gesture and the organizing committee.

Everyone enjoyed the celebration.

Welcome of Rev. Fr. Joe D’mello in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Karjat :
Rev. Fr. Joe reached Karjat on Friday 31st May 2024.
He officially took Charge of the office on Saturday 1st June 2024 (as per the Appointment letter).

Sunday 2nd June: Fr. Joe D’mello was Officially Welcomed by the Parishioners.
On Thursday 13th June : Was Officially Inducted by His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias (Archbishop of Bombay), as the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Fatima Church & incharge of Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, Karjat..

Good morning everyone its 01, June 2024

We have gather here today in this Shirne of Our Lady of Fatima with hearts full of gratitude and Excitement as we Open a New chapter in our parish’s journey. It is with great joy and anticipation that we extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to Our Newly Appointed parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Joe D’mello.

 

Fr. Joe, on behalf of the entire parish community, we want you to know how delighted we are to have you with us. We recognize the Immense dedication and Passion you bring to Your Priestly Ministry, and we are eager to embark on this spiritual journey together under your guidance.

Your arrival signifies a new beginning for us all. We look forward to your leadership, your wisdom, Guidance, and your Compassionate presence among us. We are confident that your unique Talents and Experiences will enrich our Parish Community, helping us to grow in Faith, Love, and Service.

We all are aware of the Love that Fr. Joe has for Mother Mary and that he is a devotee Of Our Lady of Fatima. He is no stranger to us or this Church for the relation between him and this Church is Old and Sweet. We are blessed to have a devotee of Our Mother itself to be chosen to serve her Church.

Fr. Joe, As you settle into your new role here, please know that you are not alone. We are a Supportive and Loving community, Ready to stand by You and work alongside you. Together, we will continue to build a parish that reflects the light of Christ, a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and inspired.

Fr. Joe, we hope you will find in us a community that is eager to Listen, to Learn, and to Support you in all the ways we can. Your presence here is a blessing, and we Look forward to all the ways God will work through you to touch our lives and deepen our faith.
